  Description

Grenadier are a deep water, medium sized fish. They range in size from 60 to 90 cm (2-3 ft), have a distinctive body shape, and are covered by tough scales. The unique body shape along with the tough scales make the grenadier a difficult species to process. The fish also offers a relatively small yeild of meat for a fish its size.
