Graphic Designer

A graphic designer designs many different things. For example, a music CD cover is designed by a graphic designer. They also make posters, billboards, magazine covers, stone memorials, floral arrangements, store window displays, or even museum exhibits. Even though most graphic designers work with computer software instead of their pencils, paints, and paper, some still do. Some work long hours to meet deadlines and other special projects, but their usual working hours are like regular office hours. They make anywhere from $14,000 to $46,600. If anyone wants to start working in this field in a parttime job, he/she could work at department stores, a florist, or design studios. If anyone wanted to volunteer he/she could offer to work for school papers, local vewspapers, magazines, and museums. Anyone would enjoy this job if he/she likes to arrange things and gather ideas by putting them together into brochures or posters.
