Chemicals of Life Biology Forum  Thinkquest Team 22016 Andrew Griffiths Tim Sindle Ben Harper |
This was mostly a trans-national creation, as we didn't have much time at school, so during holidays we worked on it. Tim lives in the north, myself(Andrew) in the middle, and Ben in the east of South Africa. So we had to do a lot of collaboration on the net. This is a new experience, and we thought it would be easy, but we actually found it to be more difficult than expected, but still lots of fun! Still, we finished
:-) About the site & credits/references Well, this site was made by a lot of hard work! We used biology text books to get ideas, online biology sites to learn from, and of course what we learnt about biology at school. All of the picstures in this site have been drawn by us, and we're quite proud of them too :-) The photosynthesis background(but not the side pieces) was taken from a freeware background library found on the net, as was the human respiration background. The test questions were based on questions which we had got in biology class, and some we thought up our selves. The nice 3d rendered greenhouse image was also created by us, as were all the animated GIF's and logos. We have our pictures saved at different stages, so we can show you that we really made them if you don't believe us :) All the CGI scripts, javascripts and java applets were also created entirely by us. So basically we created everything, copies nothing, except 2 backgrounds from a freeware archive. Thanks for visiting,
