Low price

The meat that comes from the bioindustry is a good piece of meat at a low price. This is one of the advantages of the bio-industry. Because the meat is not so expensive a lot of people can eat meat, also people with lower incomes. In this way, the population is kept healthy, because in meat, there are a lot of nutrients, which are irreplaceable and can not be found in meat surogates.
As soon as the price of meat will rise in such a way that people will have to switch to meat surogates, (Themselves not cheap)  there will develop a trade of infected, rejected meat or offal. Such a trade would introduce serious health risks. That is why raising the prices of meat is not a good idea
Price of bio-industry meat appears to be crucial. When people see bio-industry meat and free range meatside by side at the supermarket or at the butcher's, 95% of the people will choose bio-industry meat because it is cheaper. When people will keep on buying with this attitude and will not spend any extra money on free range meat, no extra ecological farmers will start and in this way nothing will change. People do not mind how the meat on their plate is produced. Be honest, would you be able to taste or see the difference between bio-industry meat or free range meat? Do you ever think of the animal when you eat your piece of meat? Really? What about your appetite?
