Many animals
on a small piece of ground
The earth's surface is 66% water
and 34% land. Because more and more people are being born, we have to find
a way to give the increasing population a place to live. Unfortunately,
land for building is getting more expensive too. Expensive land disables
the farmers to produce at a low price . They have to choose between fewer
animals and less income or they have to put more animals on a smaller piece
of land. What would you do if the choice was yours? Take a different job?
For many farmers the choice was just as difficult and most of them chose
for the second alternative: To make their animals' living space smaller,
keep them inside and give them cheaper food. If you put so many animals
on a little piece of land, off course it has results. Good and bad ones.
Read them and weight them against one another!
