This web site is devoted to personal computer hardware. Its target audience is the amateur PC user who is seeking to upgrade his or her Windows 95- or 98-based computer or who simply wants to learn more about computer hardware.

This site focuses primarily on the installation procedures for many common hardware components. However, it also provides buying advice for consumers, explanations of features and designs of components, feature articles that discuss computer hardware in general, and references including a list of links to hardware manufacturers and a glossary of computer terms.

To learn how to install a hardware component, or to learn more about a component, please click on one of the hardware categories below. You will be taken to the menu for that category, from which you can select a specific component. To read a feature article, please click on one of those below.

If at any time you wish to learn more about how to use this site, please click on the "help" icon on the left.

This educational web site was designed and created as an entry for the 1998 ThinkQuest competition.
