Excuse the interruption, but this is a Headline News special report. The Center for Disease Control has just declared that an epidemic has become widespread in San Francisco, California. Ambulances and paramedics are frantically rushing in and out of hospitals due to the overwhelming number of complaints and calls concerning illnesses resembling a chest cold that progresses into pneumonia-like symptoms. The progressions turn into a state of high fever and shortness of breath. All the patients who have been brought into numerous hospitals coincidentally have attended this afternoon's 49ers football game. Authorities have asked that anyone who attended the football game seek medical help if such cold-like symptoms occur. Stay tuned for further information...

This scenario is one you might very well have to deal withThis is what the first signs of a biological warfare attack might sound like.  Your job would be to respond to this emergency and save as many lives as possible.  Welcome to BWRTC (Biological Weapons Response Training Command.)  You are here to learn about Biological Weapons and the defense against them.  Pass the course and you will become a full member of the BWRSF (Biological Weapons Response Special Forces); fail and you will be denied admission.  In order to become a member, you will have to undergo rigorous testing and study.   You will study each of the major agents, the defenses against them, and sources of possible biological weapons threats.     You must study each section and then take the final test.  If you pass by getting a 73% or higher, you will be given the option of becoming a member of the BWRSF.  Good Luck.

Director, BWRSF

ACCESS AND SYSTEMS

In order to access the files, you will be using a new device called a PID.  That stands for Personal Information Display.  To learn more about the PID, click here.  To access the PID, click here.  It will appear in a separate window.  If you prefer old-style button menus, then you can use the button system at the bottom of each page.  Click on a section and you will be taken to a page where you can select your subsection.  BWRTC has a records department that insists that everyone who tries out for BWRSF should sign the guestbook, even if you don't pass.  To access it, click here.  Also BWRTC has a message board where you can read and respond to messages posted by other trainees; to access it, click here.
