The shark's self-defence

Everyone is always talking about shark attacks, but never about its self-defence. If a shark feels threatened, it defends itself by going for the attacker with its teeth. Sharks have a normal attitude, but they can also strike a threatening attitude. If they are going to attack, they will be swimming in a threatening attitude. But if a shark is attacked, it sometimes assumes the threatening attitude as well, because it may thus scare the attacker off.… Here you can see a picture of sharks in a threatening attitude (right) and in their normal attitude (left).
