Humans are the ultimate products of evolution. Their destiny is unknown...Perhaps they will perish much like the dinosaurs...Perhaps they will survive until the sun dies which is in another tens of billions of years...Perhaps when another specie evolves, the humans race (as a whole) will be ethnically cleansed...Perhaps humans will find another planet suitable for humans to live on...Perhaps?
A friend, an enemy
Modern medicine helps our loved ones live, however, it is also a major enemy
to the evolution of humans. Modern medicine helps the weak survive. The
process of evolution is stilled, paused. Slowly, however, viruses will evolve
and become immune to our medicines. The evolution of medicines won't be
able to catch up with the viruses. What will happen then? Your creative
imagination can think of the infinite possibilities.
A different kind of evolution
With modern medicine to stop physical evolution...mental evolution continues.
The knowledge of the human race, as a whole, expands with every day. Now,
all humans are capable of surviving because of modern medicine, but not
all humans do survive. Today, it is still the "survival of the fittest",
but it is no longer being physically fit. It is being mentally fit. Those
with high EQs will be mentally fit for whatever is to come.
