Loneliness and isolation
กก
Self and group incompatibility along with little understanding from the loved ones can easily cause only child to develop loneliness.
The only child, as said earlier, usually has a gap with his parents and is hard for him or her to live in harmony with other people. These problems finally bring him or her the sense of loneliness and isolation. Just about every only child has had these feelings before. And this loneliness is likely to lead the child into self-containment.
When a child is not understood by people of his/her surrounding, he/she is likely to approach the extremes. Maybe he or she will be reluctant to get close with their classmates or colleagues, or even never believe them. They contain themselves within their own small world like a snail, allowing little contact with the outside world.
Only child who develops from loneliness into self-containment might not be the majority case. Once it happens, however, it is a costly detriment to their mind and soul.
"Only Child"="Lonely Child"?
Maybe, but it is not what we hope.
