Our Faith

  It is a serious and penetrating subject , One that we have  never even thought about before .

  As we all know, China is a socialist country in which the socialist beliefs are that communism is the ultimate idea of human beings and that all people must strive only for this in their lives .

  Throughout our lives, we are told by everybody that communism is our life's purpose.

  In China, faith is a topic never mentioned in public, and religion is considered as anti-science.  Government and teachers introduce Marxism to us ,but nobody tells us who God is .

  But, one day we grow up ,and we begin to think over the world and try to judge it for ourselves. Bit by bit ,we begin to doubt the purpose of life, then we find life is not what people have always told us .

  Now, in fact we do not know what our true faith is, but we do need one.

Maybe someday we will find our true faith. At that time ,we will be able to select our faith freely and we will have the right to refuse communism .
