"A Treasure for Our Future"
What's the World Heritage?
The treaty of World Heritage stands for "The Treaty about Conservation of Cultural And Natural Heritage".
The original intention of the World Heritage was to conservate various cultural and natural heritage on the earth, not as local properties but as joint ones of the humans. So the treaty provides to authorize cultural and natural heritage which humans have to conserve on their own responsibility, and to make the list of the heritage. The regulation promotes international cooperation all over the world.
The world heritage has a characteristic that culture and nature which have ranked to be abhorrented each other before, are conserved together in a regulation. In that characteristic, there is a new concept that culture and nature are in a close connection, and both have to be preserved together.
