My name is Emily Bryant. I live in Williamsport, PA. I am 14 years old. I go to Loyalsock Township Highschool. I will be a freshman in the '98-'99 school year. My family includes 6 people. I have an older sister, Rachel, who is 17, a younger sister, Salem, who is 9, and a younger brother, Caleb, who is 12. I also have a mom and a dad. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Golden Retriever, 2 cats, and a Guinea pig that are family pets.

     I am involved in 4-H. In 4-H, I enjoy doing projects such as sewing and Veterinary science. I have fun playing soccer. I also enjoy playing 2 instruments, the french horn and the piano. I have been playing the french horn for 4 years and the piano for 9 years. In school my favorite subject is math. I love to fool around on the computer, go on the internet, and talk to people on the internet. I also like going places with my friends and youth group. This summer I had a chance to go to Hungary on a missions trip with Teen World Outreach for three weeks which was awesome. While I was there, my team did mime and got to talk to the people and witness to them. I had fun researching for this webpage on women in aviation. I hope you enjoy it.

Lauren Blalock

     My name is Lauren Blalock and I am going into my senior year at high school in New Jersey. I am very active in both my school and in the community. As an avid volunteer and President of the schoolıs community service club, I enjoy working with other people. I give much of my time to the local day care center, nursing home and the AIDS Foundation in New York City. I also enjoy boxing, photography and listening to music. My greatest passion, however, is traveling - experiencing new cultures, learning different languages, meeting fascinating people and exploring the adventure of life. I have always wanted to learn how to fly, and I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting women aviators around the world through the research for this website.

Austin Huang

     I just recently graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in June. I'm 18 years old.

     I've had experience working with computers from taking several post-AP computer science classes at Thomas Jefferson as well as working as a co-op intern with Harry Gardner at CACI.

     In my spare time, I enjoy creating electronic music on my computer and hanging out with friends. My senior research project was "Sound Synthesis and Filtering for Music," which I worked on in the school's computer systems lab. I like Stanley Kubrick movies. I also enjoy music by Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, and others. My favorite book is Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
