Team Design Paradise has decided to make available to the general public, the source code for Design Paradise. This will allow you to explore and see how our game looks. You can look for neat tricks, traps and other neat things found in source code.

There is much educational value to the distribution of the source code. You are able to change our graphics, change our maps, rezone the entire landscape, change the economics and gosh well almost anything else you plan to do to our great and awesome program.

Design Paradise is coded in C++. It is available in the ZIP format as one small file. Just decompress it and use.

There are a few minor strings attached to this program. First of all, if you wish to download my source code, you must e-mail me first. This is so I can just get an idea of the people who grab the code. Next, you must be sure never to use it for commercial purposes. Then, you may not use it for any other contest entry, homework or anything else UNLESS Jeffrey so allows in writing. In addition, any derivative works stemming from this code must have their source code available for general unrestricted use to the public. You must give credit for the program to "Team Design Paradise, Jeffrey, Dawn and Darren." This credit must be placed in a VERY visible area such as the login screen for the game. Finally, you hold nobody in the whole wide world except for yourself liable if something goes wrong in any way.
