I know that Alcatraz represents public safety from certain people we needed to be protected from and the reason why those people are sent there is for public safety, and that during its time it was a prison of its time, as the records of those who were sentenced there will show. Your article states that most of the events in the movie were purely fiction. Murder in the First compelled me to believe that Alcatraz was a terrible place that no person should ever have to experience. It does concern me, however, that your site states Young could still be alive. That fact alone is a huge misleading factor in the movie. If they mislead the public about that, how can we believe them about the rest of the story? Still...
