Solving Crimes

Introduction

One of the latest scientific methods of providing factual evidencein crimes and legal disputes is the use of DNA technology. For example, blood or semen samples from the scene of a crime can provide DNA, which can be analysed to prove whether a suspect has DNA akin to the sample. In civil disputes such as paternity suits, the analysis of the DNA of the persons involved can prove that a man is not the father of a particular child.
