Help me Please!
I'm not sure how to post fractions but I'll try by posting them like this 1/2 (one-half. It seems logical.
(But then again, what do I know?)
O.K. Everybody Here we go:
y^4-8y/y^2-4y-5 (Multiplied by) y-5/y^2+2y+1
(Divided by) y^3-y^2-2y/y^2+2y+1
The Answer is 1 But my Algebra teacher last year told me that if you have a literal term in a Algebra problem the answer could never be one (as a number). YES! I am positive this is what he said I listen to him repeat it all year! Was he just trying to screw me up?
