: Just want to make sure I answered these right. They are simple. Something that I am not used to anymore. I must to them into C++ programming language.
: How far can a car travel on 15 gallons if it averages 25 miles per gallon. Round to nearest tenth.
: 25/1-15/x= 0.6 of a mile
not sure what you are doing here. if the car averages 25 miles for each gallon, then 15*25 would be how far it would go on 15 gallons. the rest of your work (below this) looks good to me!
: What is the monthly rental for an office of 2400 sq ft if the rental cost is 37 dollars per sq ft. Round to nearest cent.
: 2400 * 37 = 88800.00
: Calculate the weekly salary for an employee who has worked 38.5 hours during a week and has an lourly wage of $5.25 per hour. Round to nearest cent
: 38.5 *5.25 = 202.125=202.13
: Find the rate of travel (miles per minuate) for a bike rider who covers a total of 120 miles in 5 hours.
: 120/5 = 24 miles per hour
: 24/60 = .4 miles per minuate
