1st derivative of 3x^5 = 15x^4, or FORMULA ab^c = (a*c)b^(c-1).
I understand that.

1st derivative of (x+3) / (x^2+2x) = -(3+x)(2+2x) / (2x+x^2)^2 + 1 / (2x+x^2)
= -(6+6x+x^2) / x^2(2+x)^2
Why is that?
How is the FORMULA applied?
