:You would use d=Vo*t+(1/2)*a*t^2 where Vo=initial velocity, a=acceleration(or decelearation), t=interval of time.

:Example: At time t=0s a car is traveling at 60km/hr. At t=0s it brakes at 4 m/s/s. How far will the car travel in 10s?

:d=60(1/60)(1/60)(1000)*10+(1/2)*4*(10)^2
: = 216.7 m
