Wrote program restricting search to "35": 74,005,152 confirmed.
Took about 1 hour 20 minutes; main shortcuts:
1: jump out if >35
2: stay here if total-so-far plus x < 35
[ex: if 1st 8 = 8 (all 1's), possible total is 8+24=32, so no use continuing]
