help!! I dont knpw how to do inequalities step by step

i am new to inequalities and im so confused that i cant get even the simple ones right. someone please help me for step by step solved solution of these inequalitites so that i can understand them completely!
1. x^3-3x+2<=0
2. [{(1/2)x-3}/(4+x)]>1
