It seems to have deleted a line from your given that i couldnt see in your message, but i CAN see in the comments box. mSoroban is NOT alone. We NEED a diagram to help.

to JMIAH: that is not a LESS THAN symbol it is an ANGLE symbol m<1 means measurement of angle #1 in this situation I THINK. Which supportd Soroban's missing-diagram-theory!
