: I've been trying to work, but I keep mucking this up. SERIOUS mucking. Muck Muck Muck. Here's the problem:
: I need to think up an /interesting/ and /unique/ shape who's perimeter and area are equal. I keep trying and trying, but I can't think of anything. The only one we are not allowed to use it one that has a hole in it. That was the example. Heeeellllp!
I don't think it's exactly "legal" to say that any perimeter and area are equal, since one is a linear measure - inches, feet, etc. - while the other is a square measure - square inches, etc. But if you are willing to say that 4*pi inches is "equal" to 4*pi square inches, and if a circle is unique enough for you ... does that help?
