Did you bother to find out what "| |" means?
: 1. -19-|(7)(-2)|+6^2=
: -19-|-14|+36=
: -5+36=
: 31
: They got -33+36=3
|| means ABSOLUTE VALUE: no negatives...
So if result of calculation inside || is negative, CHANGE it to positive.
Your |(7)(-2)| = 14 NOT -14
Hey, are you sure there wasn't a couple of them || in your other
2 problems, where I mentionned changing the minus to a plus?!
