: : : Before I start: you deserve NO HELP for being so damn careless...

: : : : 2. ([4*8-5=2]^2)-(3-6-(7^2)*9
: : : : My answer= [1285]
: : : : Their answer= [397]

: : : your ([4*8-5=2]^2) is probably (4*8-5+2)^2 : the + and = on same key
: : : so that's 29^2 = 841

: : : your (3-6-(7^2)*9 is probably (-3+6+9(-7)^2)
: : : so that's 3 + 9(49) = 3 + 441 = 444

: : : 841 - 444 = 397

: : : Notice that if you add instead, you get your answer: 841 + 444 = 1285

: : : Has your damn math book been damaged by rain or something?

: : NO.
: : You did the same thing they did, forgot the double negative.

: : You are right, that was supposed to be a +, not an =.
: : Now, after you simplify, you have:
: : (841)-(-444)=1285, because 3-6-441=-444, and when you subtract a negative, its like adding a positive. Right?!?!?

: NO not right!!! -- = + for example 1-(-1)=2
: but -1-1= -2!!!! do you have a calculator??

Your right, I said that wrong. Double neg means that you add.
That's what I meant to say
