: : : This is completely off the subject of math but i am really desperate and am just hoping one of you could answer my question or at least put me in the right direction.

: : : My question is "What reaction occured when you mixed Copper Sulfate (CuSO4) with Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)?

: : : If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated and I appoligize for posting a non math related question on a math forum but I'm really desperate and I need this by tonight Thank you so much

: So the blue gel-like/semi-solid left in the flask is NaSO4?

No - that's the copper hydroxide. The NaSO4 is still dissolved in the water.
