i need help on a proof and reasoning question for geometry. i need help on how to prove that negative times a negative equals a positive. my geometry teacher is making my class prove how and why it is that a negative times a negative equals a positive number. the passage he gave us to read revovles around indirect and direct reasoning and the answer is nto in the book its something we have to figure out for ourselves. please help if possible.
