This idea you have of subtracting 360o will not work here. that is used when you are finding "coterminal angles". But the angle measurement is "x". so adding or subtracting a revolution has no bearing here.
for example: if you wanted to determine sin(450o) you could subtract 360o from the angle measure. this would give sin(90o) which would be equivalent.
Keep in mind, the argument is an angle measure. the result of a trig function is a linear measure.
