You and Mr S are "MAKING" the answer 25pick5 = 53130.
If that was the intent, then the problem would be worded as such, like:
if you pick 5 numbers out of 25, what is......?
The word CONSECUTIVE is in the wording, so there's a reason for that!
Your answer contains 1-2-3-4-5, also (example) 4-1-5-3-2 which becomes
Geeeezzzzzz: any 5 numbers can be arranged in ascending order!
My solution has arrangements:
1-2-3-4-5, 1-2-3-4-6 ... 1-2-3-4-25
1-2-3-5-6, 1-2-3-5-7 ... 1-2-3-5-25
carry on similarly to end with 21-22-23-24-25.
AND that I'm sure is the intent....what you say, "oldguy"?!
