Jack solved assuming you got that correctly bracketed;
AND if so, yiou don't need these brackets; this is ok:
1/x - 2 + 3/x + 3 = 4/x^2 + x - 6
BUT I have a feeling this ir REALLY your equation:
1/(x - 2) + 3/(x + 3)= 4/(x^2 + x - 6)
Why? Notice that (x-2)(x+3) = x^2 + x - 6 (so a common denominator)
Then:
x + 3 + 3(x - 2) = 4
x = 7/4
Regardless: be CAREFUL with bracketing
