Sometimes when you have that scenario, it is helpful to write the entire equation each step.
This can sometimes lead to an obseravtion that you (may) have the same integral on each side of the equation.
...for (general) example
you might end up with A = stuff - A (where A is the integral, so you could get... 2A = stuff,
or A (the original integral) = 1/2 stuff...
I realize that may seem ambiguous, but think about it for those problems which seem to keep "rolling back on themselves"
