thanks soroban i just got back from meeting with my professor and his help along with your explanation will now allow me to get my hw done. one follow up question however. would you be so kind as to remind me of the general formula for integration by parts.i remember learning it but that was 2 years ago and im pretty fuzzy on how to do it. thanks.
