: I need to know how to simplify expressions.
: Example- 4a-3+5a. How do you do this?
: another-;+-3++2++4 I am stumped. Please help

Are you stumped or smoking something funny or you're a blonde?
What d'hell is that 2nd expression??!!

You got 4a-3+5a :what's 4 apples + 5 apples? 9 apples, right?
So 4a + 5a = 9a; so expression becomes 9a-3; are you following?
To simplify further: 3(3a - 1); that reads 3 times (3a - 1);
now multiply what's inside the brackets by 3:
3 times 3a = 9a
3 times -1 = -3
so we're back to 9a - 3; ok?

now this weirdo: +-3++2++4; is it +(-3)+(+2)+(+4)?
if so, can't you type brackets?
if so, then you have -3+2+4 = 3: too frustrating to explain: BYE!
