Given the following function: f(x) = (3-x)(x+1)^2 defined on the interval [-2,6]

determined that: f'(x) = -3x^2 + 2x +5
f''(x) = 2-6x

a. find all intercepts and asymptotes
b. find all critical nunbers and determine absolute max and min over interval
c. list the intervals where the function is increasing and decreasing
d. list the intervals where the function is concave up or concave down

someone help me determine the absolutes, my book says if it is at an endpoint on an interval then it is not an absolute but a local

also the second derivative is just a line, how can you prove the concavity?
