O.K. recall that anything divided by -1 is the opposite of the anything (just like multiplying by -1)

so, 2x-1/-1 = -2x-1

and x-1 = 1/x

hence (one of those words used in math to sound smart...)

2x-1/-1 = -2/x

how's that?
