That's quite a typo, Dennie!
1/(x-7) - 64/x2 = 0
Multiply through by the LCD: x2(x-7)
x2 - 64x + 448 = 0
(x - 8)(x - 56) = 0
x = 8, x = 56
[Obviously, knowing the two answers, 8 and 56,
I could work my way back to the original problem.]
