ThinkQuest Team 20991 is Rob Andrus, John Pruess, and Garrett Stettler.

First, we'd like to thank ThinkQuest for giving us the opportunity to explore our computer and math skills (if you can call them "skills") in creating a useful educational site.  This site earned an Honorable Mention award in the 1998 competition and the GEM Award in 2000.

Second, we'd like to thank Mr. Hollist, who signed all those forms for us.   :-)

Next, we'd like to thank our parents and families for putting up with us "morons" and the hours we spent staring mindlessly (or so it seemed to them) at computer monitors late into the night.

We would also like to thank everyone who has visited the site and provided feedback. A special thanks goes to the "regulars" on the message boards who have helped make this site a useful resource to many people.

Technical

All graphics created by TQ Team 20991 using the following programs:

The HTML Reference Library helped us to actually remember all the HTML tags and how to use them.

Microsoft and Netscape provided free web browsers.

Sophisticated programs like Windows Notepad and BBEdit were used to write the HTML and JavaScript.

Matt's Script Archive provided the message board CGI.

Thanks to Texas Instruments for their "brains" (calculators).  Go to their education site to download programs and resources for your brain. You can also visit c2 coding and ticalc.org.

Pre-Algebra

We used Addison-Wesley Pre-Algebra by Phares G. O'Daffer, Stanley R. Clemens, and Randall I. Charles for reference.

Thanks to chemistry teacher Mr. Stevens for letting us take the above mentioned book from him.

Algebra

We used the best math book ever published, Algebra I: An Incremental Development by John H. Saxon, Jr. for reference.

Thanks to our calculus lab teacher, Mrs. Agrapides, for letting us take her doorstop (the above mentioned book).

Geometry

We used Harper & Row Geometry by Max A. Sobel, Evan M. Maletsky, Brother Neal Golden, S.C., Norbert Lerner, and Louis C. Cohen for reference.

Algebra II

We used Algebra and Trigonometry by Mervin L. Keedy, Marvin L. Bittinger, Stanley A. Smith, and Lucy J. Orfan for reference.

We also used The ShawNotesTM - Pre-Calculus ed. and The ShawNotesTM - AB Calculus Study Notes, compiled by J.M. Shaw w/contributions by M. Agripides and G. Taylor for reference.

Thanks to Mrs. Larsen for putting up with Garrett and John in her class along with a whole slew of hooligans such as Lemon®, Crookston, Russ, the kid named Jon Schaefer, and Ashby (the kid who could scare a social worker).  A special thanks to Mrs. Larsen for having her early morning study sessions that helped us out immensely.

Pre-Calculus/Calculus

We used (once again) The ShawNotesTM - Pre-Calculus ed. and The ShawNotesTM - AB Calculus Study Notes, compiled by J.M. Shaw w/contributions by M. Agripides and G. Taylor for reference.

Since Pre-Calc and Calc were the most fun math classes we took during our high school "careers," a special thanks goes to Mr. Shaw, Mr. Taylor, and Mrs. Agrapides for keeping us interested in math.  Shaw kept us coming to class, if not for math, to see what antics he could come up with that day.  (Chalk-throwing was our favorite).  Taylor kept calc interesting because he was able to explain it, even when it got really confusing.  Agrapides, well...at least we were on task.  :-)  No, really, lab's been a great class!

Thanks to Jane, Travis (O.D.D.), Jeff, J.D., and Jared for making calc. an entertaining and fun class.
