Honda Accord
The Honda Accord is a smooth-riding, quick, and stable way to haul four people and their belongings around. It is also a fun car to drive by yourself, with the manners and performance of Honda's Accord sedan. The Accord wagon is built in Marysville, Ohio, and competes with the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable wagons as a capacious family car, though it's smaller inside. Two models are available, the base LX and an uplevel EX. A power moonroof comes standard on the EX, but it cuts into front and rear headroom, limiting interior space. Also offered on the EX is a more powerful four-cylinder with Honda's VTEC variable-valve-timing-and-lift system. This engine makes 145 horsepower -- 15 more than the base engine. The EX comes with anti-lock brakes standard; they're optional on the LX, which comes with standard rear drums.
