The SMALL tag is used to make text smaller than it already is. The FONT tag can do the same thing as SMALL, with SIZE="-1".

This text isn't small, but <SMALL>this is.</SMALL>

Nesting <SMALL>tags <SMALL>will <SMALL>make <SMALL>text <SMALL>get <SMALL>smaller <SMALL>and <SMALL>smaller.</SMALL></SMALL></SMALL></SMALL></SMALL></SMALL></SMALL></SMALL>

Nesting tags will make text get smaller and smaller.
