In addition to the videos we captured ourselves, we hoped to use the videos found on the Microsoft Complete Gardening CD-ROM. We regret to say that Microsoft denied our request to use a small number of low-quality, low-resolution video clips from the Microsoft Complete Gardening CD-ROM (no longer available for purchase) in Microsoft Netshow, Real Video, and Vivo formats on this Web site.

We intended to convert the movies as found on the CD-ROM to drastically lower resolutions for streaming video over the Internet and to act only as previews in hopes that people will see how beneficial Microsoft Complete Gardening is and will purchase it if it becomes available for purchase. Despite the fact that we had no intentions to redistribute the content found on the Microsoft Complete Gardening CD-ROM, our request for permission was rejected. Furthermore, we cannot recommend the Microsoft Complete Gardening CD-ROM because it is no longer available to the general public for purchase. An excellent alternative is 3D Garden Designer by Burpee

Ultimately, we decided to condense the articles and highlight the main concepts of each movie with a screenshot of the movie, therefore users may obtain the information we intended to provide. As a result, Veganet complies with the guidelines outlined at the Microsoft Permissions Web site.
