The human species, sapiens sapiens, has emerged during the Holocene Epoch. We are a separation from other species because of our superior intelligence.

Many Philosophers have debated the meaning of "superior intelligence. Some say it is the ability to communicate. But other animals can express themselves, like a dog that is growling at a stranger. Others say that it is being able to use tools. Again, there are exceptions. A chimpanzee uses a stick to pick termites out of a colony.

My evaluation is that we are more intelligent because we can comprehend -not only what is going on around us- but inside of the atom, and beyond the farthest star that we can see.

Another one of my reasons is our ability to be creative and being able to respond in our own separate ways.

We truly are separate, but yet connected in the intricate web of life.
