The Xinhai Revolution

In the Lunar Calendar, the year of 1911AD is called year of "Xinhai". So the revolution occoured in 1911 is called The Xinhai Revolution.

The revolution is because the fail of the bourgeois innovate when the emperor GuangXu was on his seat. and the decay of the goverment of Qing Dynasty with the Queen Mother CiXi. Ths revolution started in October 10th, 1911. The emperor of PuYi,  last emperor of China, give up the throne the next year..

The revolution founded the Republic of China in January 1st, 1912. And Mr. Sun Zhongshan became the Temporarily President of the country. But the mortifying end was Yuan Shikai has stolen the gains of the revolution. Yuan Shikai named himself the emperor of "Empire Of China" in December 12th, 1915. And because the provinces' against about that, he canceled to be the emperor in March the year after.
