Summer Palace

The summer palace is the largest and most integrated royal pack among the ones in China. It was built in 1888 by the queen of Cixi. The palace occupies an area of 290 hectares. It is an excellent representatine of Chinese parks.

The whole palace includes Wanshoushan Hill and Kunming Lake as its main part. The whole palace can be divided into 3 parts: Political part, Living part and Landscape browsing part. In the three part, the landscape browsing part is the best, and this part itself can divided into parts of Front Hill, Back Hill and Kunming Lake. The palace is a treasury of China Traditional Culture. The Long Corridor shows the traditional culture's charm. After all, the Summer Palace is the spokesman of the ancient parks in China.
