The green bar that you see to the left is the table of contents. It has direct links for all of the pages available in this website(except for the Basic and Advanced techniques page-click on How do I play? to access those). The name of the page you are currently on appears orange in the table of contents bar. In this case, the site help link at the very top should be highlighted orange. The Thinkquest picture in the bottom of the bar is a link to the Thinkquest main page-the contest that inspired this page to be constructed. You may be eligible to participate in this year's competition-click the picture to go to the Thinkquest page.

The green bar on the top has the name of this website-The Sport of Table Tennis-in orange. Below that, the name of the current page is displayed. Below the current page name, the links to the sections of the current page are displayed. Click on these to jump to a section on the same page without scrolling excessively. There are also back to top links embedded after every section in very long pages(Basic and Advanced techniques), so you can click on those instead of scrolling to the top to access the table of contents. Any blue text within the text body is clickable, being hyperlinks that take you to various parts of this website or other websites.

The green bar on the bottom is the navigation bar. Top takes you back to the top of the current page. Index takes you back to the index page. Previous and Next are akin to flipping the pages in a book. They take you to the previous page and the next page in the serious, respectively. The order of the pages is top to down in the table of contents. Site help, Site search, and Feedback(an e-mail link) is not included in the said order.

Finally, a search engine is available-just click on the site search link and you will have the option of entering keywords. Try a different search setting if you can't find what you are looking for.(note:this search engine looks for keywords you typed in all of the pages on this website, including the message board. If the program hits a keyword, it will display the title of that page that contains the keyword. In the case of the message board, it may either return titles of invididual messages or simply the title of the discussion board if it finds a header with that keyword. When you enter a page based on the search results, you can either use the links on the top bar or use the find function on your web browser to zero in on the keyword on that page.
