Hi everybody. I am considering getting involved with t.tennis as a sport that can give me a workout. You know...get sweaty, out of breath, make my muscles sore, develop my legs and torso a bit. I've read an earlier post about training where the writer refers to pro players as being pretty fit. What about normal folks? If I play with a club will I get a workout? I live in Sasnta Monica and have found a club at the community college. Are there others here in LA? BTW, the reason I'm interested is because I lived in Russia for a year and was able to play in a ping-pong club room with great tables, good space, and some good players. I've never seen people so serious about ping-pong! I was blown away when I watched a youth group playing -- quick, powerful, focused and consistent.
