I don't think any rubber is "better" or not when reglued. It all depends on the user's style. I guess you heard that the rubber was meant for regluing in the sense that it responds well to the speed glue's effects (good sponge/rubber combination), rather than it HAS to be infused with glue to be playable.

If you aren't a gluer, then I doubt that regluing will help unless your playing style demands it (extreme offensive).

Comments I heard from others (I haven't tried it) who used this were mixed...most thought it wasn't explosive enough (and this was with regluing).

I am guessing that you are using the Mark V without speed glue also. If you are happy with it then gluing the Mendo Energy will most likely not help (but you can always try...). Most of the people I know who use the Mark V reglue it. They swear by the rubber of course.

But in the end...you won't know until you try. Just hang on if you reglue though-those forehand loops will start FLYING off your paddle!:)

: Anyone tried this rubber?? I made a mistake in buying it. I am not a regluer and I heard this rubber is for reguling. I am currently playing with this and Mark V. If anyone has tried this rubber, could you tell me more about this rubber?? I don't know if I should start regluing or just play without speed glue. Mark V is great though.
: Thanks.
