Copulation, Magnification factor 100
During the copulation the male tick puts its proboscis into the sexual organ of the female one and opens it. Normally, the copulation takes place on the host, while the female tick is blood sucking and not able to move. Afterwards the male ticks fixes it sperma at the opening of the female sexual organ.
