Another part of our earth is home to mites, namely the ground
water.
These mites have developed several strategies in order to live
there: They either take the size of 200-400µ to enable them
to move between sand particles, or they have got a worm-like
shape.
They were first discovered at a Polish source, where they were
washed to the surface. It took another 30 years to identify them in
their normal surroundings by digging in ground water region.
