Very attractive and informative website. There are some errors in the language part however. Pinyin IS the romanization system of China. The other phonetic alphabet is called Bopomofo. Chinese also has some tenses. Add "le" after the verb for past and add "hui" before the verb for future. Anyway, I enjoyed this site...

Congratulations for your amazing site; with good information and beautiful design and also easy to travel. I was searching pictures about Japanese timber architecture and found for the first time pictures of Shanxi’s wooden pagodes. Continue with your great work.

Fantastic site! We just spent 22 days in China and paid special attention to the Chinese arts. I have traveled throughout Asia and really enjoyed my trip to inner China. I bought a silk rug in Wuhan, art work in Chug Ching, paper cuttings, lacquer ware and many other objects featured on your site including chops. This web site is a must for anyone interested in travel to China!

Congratulations to your team on the webb pages. They are beautiful and very well thought out. Would like to see more photos of the limestone formations around Guilin and more photos from Yellow Mountain. Those who haven't been to either of these places have missed some of the most beautiful on earth. Again congratulations on a job well done.

Bill and Hillary, This is totally uncalled for! To express your rage toward an innocent web project is really beneath anybody who has such a good taste to visit the Thinkquest "gallery" in the first place.Take your opinion to a political forum and you may advance farther, good luck!

I just want to congratulate the whole team on what a great page they put together. Also, about the comments listed above involving politics, I just want to say that this page is clearly not about politics and taking sides. It is obviously an informational page that's supposed to enlighten people about China, which it does. Again, congratulations to the team on making a very professional page to educate insiders and outsiders about China. As an art student and maybe future-artist, I enjoyed the graphics and attention to detail. So, I can honestly say that I hold this page in high regard.
